POSTPONED-38th Annual SYEP Golf Tournament

The City of Montebello's Department of Recreation & Community Services, implemented the Summer Youth Employment Program 35 years ago due to severe budget cuts at both the federal and state level.

The SYEP Program is a training program that provides youth invaluable work experience.

The SYEP Program provides productive services for the community through their job assignments in Summer Day Camp, Street Maintenance, Summer Recreation Program, Park Maintenance, Transit Department, Aquatics Program, Golf Course Maintenance,Summer Lunch Program, Fire Department, Police Department/ and Clerical Positions.

The funds raised through the SYEP Golf Tournament determines how many Youth Employment participants the proceeds from the tournament directly impacts the SYEP participants. The dedication of the sponsors, golfers and committee members ensures that opportunities are available for our community. We appreciate your support and your dedication!
