SYEP GOLF TOURNAMENT

The City of Montebello, Recreation & Community Services Department, implemented the Summer Youth Employment Program 36 years ago due to budget cuts at both the federal and state level. The Summer Youth Employment Program is a training program that provides youth invaluable work experience. Youth participating in the program provide productive services for the community through their job assignments in Summer Camp, Street Maintenance, Summer Recreation Program, Park Maintenance, Transit Department, Aquatic Program, Lunch Program, Fire Department, Police Department Clerical Position. The funds raised through the SYEP Golf Tournament determines how many Youth Employment participants are hired. All the proceeds from the tournament directly impact SYEP participants. The dedication of the sponsors, golfers and committee members ensure that opportunities are available for our community. We appreciate your support and dedication!
