Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Montebello Chamber of Commerce's “Top of the Town” event will be reprised this year on Thursday, February 27th at the Quiet Cannon Event & Conference Center in Montebello from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The evening soiree will once again bring together members of the Montebello City Council, heads of city departments, other elected officials, and representatives of Montebello businesses.
At this after-hours event organized by our Government Affairs Committee, the Montebello Chamber of Commerce and the City of Montebello will honor top companies for their contributions to the city.
In addition to the presentation of acknowledgements to these companies, the evening’s program will allow business owners and representatives of our Chamber members to meet our new civic leaders in an intimate, focused setting. Recent staffing changes and reorganization of the city council have resulted in a new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem, a new permanent City Manager and Assistant City Manager, and new directors in multiple city departments including Planning and Community Development. These new civic leaders as well as our Police Chief and Fire Chief are expected to be in attendance. Invitations have also been sent to other elected officials whose responses are still pending.
